This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to highlight the vital importance of early detection and encourage everyone to take part in breast cancer screening.
In the UK, women aged 50 to 71 are invited for a free breast screening every three years.
Attending these appointments is one of the most effective ways to detect cancer early, when treatment is often simpler and outcomes are better. If you notice any changes in your breasts, don’t wait. See your GP as soon as possible, even if you’re not within the screening age range.
