I was born in Britain but grew up surrounded by the strong influence of my Irish grandparents and family. My Irish heritage has always been a big part of who I am, something I am incredibly proud of. I grew up Irish dancing from a young age and still cheer passionately for Limerick in the hurling.
I seek to bring this pride into my role at Irish in Britain, especially in developing health and wellbeing initiatives that make a real difference. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health and Clinical Psychology from London South Bank University, and I am keen to use my knowledge, along with my practical experience, to support and strengthen our communities.
Having worked in both social care and mental health services, I have gained a solid understanding of the health and wellbeing needs across different sectors in the UK. I am excited to use that experience to help drive meaningful, community-focused change for Irish people living in Britain.
