In partnership with the Irish in Britain

How did the conflict ‘in and about’ Northern Ireland affect people of Irish heritage living in Britain?

What were the everyday experiences of you, your family and your friends?

Did you keep anything that reminds you of your own or shared experiences?
If you have an ordinary object that was ‘transformed by the conflict’ or its meaning was changed for you, we invite you to bring it along to this workshop. Use this object to share your experience, or just bring yourself and your memories, or just come to listen to others.

Though this event considers the experiences of the Irish in Britain, people from any heritage or culture are welcome to attend and to reflect on how conflict impacts everyday experiences and objects.
