Liverpool Irish Festival, Britain's largest Irish arts and culture led festival takes place Thurs 19 Oct– Sun 29 Oct 2023 at venues across Merseyside.
This year, the Festival turns 21!The annual Festival - a highlight of the UK cultural calendar - features 40 events, for adults and children, across 10 remarkable days.
An array of Irish artists and contributors from across the worlds of music, theatre, film, spoken word, visual arts and academia will be showcased across the Festival.
Artists include Lisa Lambe and Sue Rynhart (music); Kabosh Theatre and Fat Dan Productions (theatre); IndieCork (film) and language specialist Tony Crowley.
This year's theme is anniversary, meaning a host of events will mark important anniversaries in the Irish social and political sphere including 175-years of An Gorta Mór (The Great Famine), 100-years of the Republic of Ireland and 25-years of The Good Friday Agreement.
