Closing Date

We are now seeking to appoint new Board Members.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for people who share our passion for delivering excellent services for our residents and are particularly interested if you can offer experience or insight in at least one of the following areas:

  • Strategic asset management/Repairs & Maintenance/Health & Safety compliance – your experience will help shape our journey around net zero, building safety and compliance, influence how our existing homes are maintained and guide strategic decisions around the development of new homes.

  • Lived experience of social housing – we warmly welcome applications from residents of Innisfree or other housing associations who can bring their voice, insight and perspective to our Board. As someone who understands social housing first hand, your voice will help shape decisions that directly impact our communities.

  • Finance, audit and risk management – your experience will support strong oversight of internal controls, risk management and effective governance.

If your skills do not match any of the above but you feel you could make a valuable strategic contribution in another relevant area, we would still value your application.

Why Join Us

Why join the Innisfree Board

  • Joining our board is an opportunity to stretch yourself beyond your day job, develop new skills, broaden your network and make a real difference.

  • You will play an active role in shaping our future direction, ensuring we stay on track and use our resources wisely, and holding us to the highest standards so that we remain transparent and trusted.

  • You will be joining a high calibre, friendly and supportive board that combines ambition with collaboration, working together to protect Innisfree’s strong reputation.

  • Previous board experience is not essential as we will provide a full induction programme and ongoing training to support you in the role. What matters most is your willingness to learn and your commitment to our values.

  • Our Board meets 6 times a year on a Tuesday evening at 6pm and you will also be invited to contribute as a member of one of our committees. We also hold an annual Strategy Day, giving us an opportunity to step back, think big and explore new ideas together.

We are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive recruitment process and are open to considering any reasonable adjustments needed by candidates at any stage of the process. We also offer reasonable adjustments to ensure the effective ongoing participation of newly recruited Board members.

Innisfree operates across wonderfully diverse London boroughs, and we warmly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences, who share our commitment and are ready to make a meaningful contribution.
