I studied law at Trinity College Dublin before training as a lawyer and working for several years post–qualification at Arthur Cox in Dublin. Five years ago I moved to London and joined Linklaters LLP, where I specialise in employment and incentives, advising corporate clients on a broad range of advisory, contentious and transactional employment matters.
I am dually qualified in the UK and in Ireland and frequently advise on employment matters with an international focus. I also have a special interest in diversity and am involved in Linklaters’ graduate recruitment program and various corporate social responsibility programs.
While London has been my home for over five years now, I maintain strong links with friends and family in Ireland and visit regularly. When the opportunity arose to join the Board of Irish in Britain, I jumped at the chance to contribute to promoting and protecting the interests of all Irish people in Britain, and in particular the most vulnerable members of our society.
As a new member of the Board, I am enjoying learning about all of the aspects of the wonderful work that Irish in Britain and its members are involved in.
Outside of work, I have a keen interest in art and photography.
