Thank you for signing up to our mailing list.
From documents, photographs, oral history interviews to posters, ephemera and newspapers, this rich collection of materials has, since its founding in 1984, been gathered into a unique academic and community resource.
In this talk by curator Dr. Tony Murray, you will learn more about the Archive, what it contains, how you can visit it and how you can contribute to its development in coming years.
This session may be of interest to people of all generations. It may be especially useful for family, friends, volunteers and staff caring for our community members living with dementia seeking to understand more about the lives of Irish people in Britain. Join us to find out about resources housed within the archives that can shine light into the past and open doors into our memories.
To facilitate everyone's comfort, you can join this session with a cup of tea or your lunch without being visible or heard. We welcome your questions and thoughts. You will also be able to type questions in the session.
These will then be put to Tony by panellists Anne Jervis, Zibiah Loakthar, Aisling McDowell and Dr Mary Tilki from our Irish in Britain Cuimhne team. You are welcome to email questions ahead of the session to email@example.com or type these into the live session.
All our Thoughtful Thursday sessions are free of charge and open to all.
