The report investigates the relationship between older Irish people across the North of England and digital technologies with a strategy to tackle its findings.

You can sign up for the free event at 2pm on Thursday 6 May here.

The launch will include:

  • An address from Ambassador Adrian O’Neill.
  • Kate Daly, the author of the report, will present the main findings.
  • A panel discussion about the implications of the report with audience Q&A.

The report, which was carried out during the first wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, uncovers digital isolation and exclusion and details varied levels of access, understanding, usage and ambitions that older Irish people have towards digital technologies.

Fréa is a Community Interest Company bringing together three independent charities in the North of England (Irish Community Care Manchester, Irish Community Care [based in Liverpool and delivering services in the North West] and Leeds Irish Health & Homes).
