County Carlow – Contae Cheatharlach

Sporting Carlow’s red, yellow and green is John Nolan in Crawley, West Sussex, originally from Bagenalstown.

John is chair of the Celtic & Irish Cultural Society and has organised the Crawley Irish Festival for many years. He works in construction and property development.

In his video, John talks about his family’s enduring links with Ireland and the incredible contribution of Irish people to Britain. He hopes that we can safely and healthily see out the final hurdles before restrictions can end – John will be heading to Carlow as soon as possible.

Fingers crossed that many of us will meet at Crawley Irish Festival on 29 August this summer.
