Communications and Membership Officer – Irish in Britain
Irish in Britain are looking for a Communications and Membership Officer to help build on and deliver the organisation’s plans through effective communications and work with members.
Hours: Full time
Location: Haringey, London with occasional travel

About the role
Irish in Britain wishes to appoint a Communications and Membership Officer to deliver high quality communications across our online and offline channels as well as managing the recruitment, retention and renewal of our annual membership. The Communications and Membership Officer is an integral part of the team and a first point of contact for our member organisations and general public enquiries.
The candidate must be a self–motivated individual who is highly successful at managing and building relationships as well as being an excellent verbal and written communicator. You must also be extremely organised with creative approaches to successfully position messages and run campaigns for Irish in Britain.
Irish in Britain is a national charity based in Britain that supports the Irish community nationally.
This post will be based in Irish in Britain’s head offices in North London and may involve travel across the UK for events and meetings.

Qualifications and experience
Applicants should hold a third level qualification in communications or marketing or have similar level of experience of working in a similar role.
