The Board of Trustees of Irish in Britain are recruiting a Treasurer and three other Trustees at this year’s AGM in November
Organisational and Individual members (Friends of Irish in Britain) are welcome to apply to stand for election to the board.

Organisations who are members of Irish in Britain can nominate individuals and should please ensure that the person they nominate belongs to a member organisation or is a ‘Friend’ of IiB that they have read the paperwork, meet the relevant requirements set out in the Role Description and Person Specification, and are willing to stand for election.

Friends of IiB are welcome to apply to stand for election, attend the AGM and take part in any AGM discussions but will not be entitled to vote.
Friends of IiB wishing to stand for election should send a detailed CV and Supporting Statement that demonstrates their suitability for the role in line with the requirements set out in the Role Description and Person Specification.

If a nominee wishes to stand for treasurer, they must indicate this on their application.
For the other roles nominees will be considered on how they best demonstrate their suitability as a trustee against the Role Description and Personal Specification for the three skills areas outlined.
Applicants for trustee position will be shortlisted for suitability against the skills we require for the board and only if accepted by the panel will they be invited to stand for election at the AGM.
